A new era
An orchestra of its place
For twenty years, TOCCATA has brought live orchestral and choral music to the towns around Lake Tahoe. This year we begin a new chapter. Following a national search, the Board of Directors has named Hannah von Wiehler our first full-time Artistic Director and Principal Conductor, and together we are building an orchestra that belongs to this region as surely as its lakes and peaks, and one the wider world will travel to hear.

Two new prizes
This season TOCCATA launches two competitions for musicians. The Concerto Prize sends a young pianist to our stage to perform Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue at our summer concert. The Composition Prize gives a living composer a world premiere with a full orchestra. Both are open now.

FREE Tickets for Youth at Every Concert
Anyone under age 23 can attend our concerts for FREE in general admission and youth discounts are available in every section.
Affordable Tickets for Everyone Else
General Admission starts at $30 for adult tickets with additional tiers for those that want to sit closer, or enjoy other premium benefits.
